Don't forget to get your new "chip" WolfCard if you didn't get one already as you return to campus. You will need it to gain access to your building. You can identify if your card is chip-enabled by looking to see if it has a small, blue "HID" logo on the back in the upper left corner. If you do need a new WolfCard, you can get it at the Cashiering Office in Eugene Short Hall, Suite 102.
As we return to a multi-dimensional workplace where employees are in-person, virtual and hybrid, it is important that we update our skills and techniques to run efficient, productive and inclusive meetings. Recent research points out that minoritized employees have experienced ongoing or increased levels of bias in virtual and hybrid work environments.

UAA Center for Human Development Tapestry program is recruiting a Tapestry Program Specialist. This position will assist and support Tapestry Workforce Credential Certificate participants in the classroom and at work experience placement sites to develop pre-employment readiness skills, research career interests, develop a career plan, and complete a work experience internship with community host “employers."
Recently University of Alaska Anchorage Provost Denise Runge announced the hiring of deans for the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business and Public Policy and the College of Engineering.
Kenrick Mock was named dean of the College of Engineering. He served as the college's interim dean starting in fall 2018 and as a computer science faculty member since 2000.
