2022 Alaska Health Summit will take place online, Jan. 18-20

The Alaska Health Summit, hosted by the Alaska Public Health Association (ALPHA) will take place entirely online. With its theme "The Intersection of Public Health and Public Safety," this conference (Jan. 18, 19 and 20) will offer sessions of interest to all. Keynotes include:

  • A panel of Alaska’s municipal police and State Trooper leadership, discussing how their agencies’ missions involve the public’s health.
  • Experts on the Crisis Now model of behavioral health crisis response, which is currently being implemented across the state.
  • Charlene Apok, Gender Justice & Healing Director of Native Movement.
  • Charles Brown, Founder & Principal of Equitable Cities.
  • Brian Castrucci, President/CEO, de Beaumont Foundation.
  • Valerie Davidson, ANTHC President/CEO.
  • Dr. Anne Zink, Alaska Chief Medical Officer.

There will also be dozens of presentations by public health researchers and program directors across the state.
