2022 Business Plan Competition offers mentoring, cash prizes

Develop a business plan to highlight your start-up idea and you could win big in the 2022 CBPP Business Plan Competition. Enter as an individual or as a team in either the UAA Student/Anchorage Community Member category or the Alaska Middle College Student category.

Finalists will compete for prizes at a live Perfect Pitch event on April 8, with a total of $16,500 in cash prizes to be awarded.

Interested in competing, but need some help? Submit the "Intent to Compete" form on our website by Friday, Jan. 14, and you'll be invited to a special mentoring session held on Jan. 17.

Final Business Plan submissions are due by 5 p.m. on Feb. 11. Finalists will be announced March 11 and the final live Perfect Pitch will be on April 8.

The Business Plan Competition is a program of the College of Business and Public Policy, and is organized by Dr. Helena S. Wisniewski. Guest judges include business executives, entrepreneurs and investors, including:
