Laptops/Chromebooks available for students

by UAA/APU Consortium Library  |

There are a number of different ways for students to get laptops/Chromebooks for spring semester.

IT Services
Semester-long checkouts of PC laptops/Chromebooks
This program is being led by IT Services. Students need to fill out this form, which will be approved by ITS.

Students will then come to the library to pick up the device once the request has been approved. Here is information on eligibility for this program.

Library Technology
Week-long checkout of PC/Mac Laptops
Students just need to come to the library with their WolfCards and they are able to checkout a laptop for a week at a time. There are fines assessed if they don’t return the laptop on time ($1/hour it is overdue up to the replacement cost of the item).

RPNow Laptops
These check out for three days at a time and are also available at the library. The fines for these are the same as for the library laptops.

Vending machine items
We will no longer be checking out headphones or whiteboard markers. These items are available for purchase in our vending machine for a nominal price.
