Tom Case Fellows community book drive to benefit residents of McLaughlin Youth Center

by Green & Gold News  |

Literacy and an appreciation for reading are important tools for young adults in and out of the criminal justice system. The Tom Case Leadership Fellows believe that through a book drive, the Anchorage and UAA community can build upon MYC’s ongoing work by providing residents tools to continue their personal growth and education through access to new and gently used, age-appropriate books.

The book drive will run March 1 to March 31, 2022 during National Reading Month. Drop off book donations at: UAA/APU Consortium Library, Loussac Library, Arc of Anchorage, Jack White Real Estate, Alyeska Title, Guarantee Mortgage Company, Rebound Physical Therapy (West), Kaladi Brothers (Tudor) or Alaska Hand Rehabilitation.
