Library Giving Day is a national one-day online fundraising event dedicated to growing philanthropic support for libraries across the nation as part of National Library Week. This year the day to celebrate #LibraryGivingDay is April 6, 2022.
This Wednesday, April 6, please join us in celebrating #LibraryGivingDay by making a gift to support the Consortium Library via the library's Giving page.
Every dollar raised during Library Giving Day will provide essential funding to support research and teaching, directly benefiting current and future students in their commitment to achieve academic excellence.
The award-winning Consortium Library advances discovery and enriches the quality of life in Alaska by connecting people with knowledge. Our core mission is to support students, faculty, and staff of UAA and APU by accelerating inquiry, creativity, and learning for global impact and the public good. The Consortium Library advances student success, stimulates research, unites the diverse voices of our communities, and provides the tools for faculty, staff and students to experiment fearlessly and create new knowledge. The UAA/APU Consortium Library is the largest research library in Southcentral Alaska.
