LGBTQIA2S+ Advisory Committee

by The LGBTQIA2S+ Advisory Committee  |

The LGBTQIA2S+ Advisory committee is a campus wide group that works to promote an inclusive and affirming UAA community for the LGBTQIA2S+ communities and allies. This group meets biweekly to advise the Chief Diversity Officer on issues related to the UAA and local community, and provide guidance on the development of programs, services and trainings.

In the past year, we have worked to improve facilities and access for gender diverse community members, developed the Pronouns Matter training, and launched the, “Is it OK to say Queer?” campaign.
