Can you unseat the Office of Financial Aid’s Trivia Master? You have to join our team to give it a try!
Our current team is made up of trivia buffs, jokesters, riddlers, road bikers, and fishing fiends. We’ve got cat people, dog people, little people, and a single snake people… uhm, person. We’ve created a sort of family where every member is celebrated and respected.
We all work hard to help UAA and Anchorage families with financial aid but we also enforce work/life balance. Do we have a spot for you? We just might, but you have to love being kind to students and their families, helping them to understand complex rules in a simple way. You have to be detail-oriented, after all we are responsible for managing student and taxpayer money responsibly.
Swoon-worthy skills we seek: Someone who is not intimidated by computers or scary
government words, someone who picks up ideas and skill sets quickly, someone who enjoys
being part of a team, is excited to grow and evolve their skills, and someone who
loves being part of this incredibly diverse UAA community, oh and potlucks — must
love potlucks!
Our job description can be pretty intimidating, which means you have to be brave and not easily intimidated. Even if you’re not sure you can handle the challenge, applying and interviewing for this position will give you some good practice.
