Student Diversity Awards: Call for Applications and Nominations

The UAA Diversity Action Committee is excited to invite your nominations for the 2023 Diversity Action Council student diversity awards. More information and nomination forms can be found at the DAC Student Diversity Awards website.

This year, nominations and applications (self-nominations) will be accepted by faculty, staff or students. The UAA Student Diversity Award honors students who have demonstrated a deep and ongoing commitment to social justice, diversity, equity and inclusion on any UAA campus. This award seeks to honor students who exemplify creating a culture of equity and inclusion; UAA values of critical thinking and awareness; and diversity, respect, and social responsibility in their UAA or broader community.

Please consider nominating exemplary students, particularly those who may not recognize their impact.

Award winners will be granted up to $1500 in administrative scholarships for Spring 2023.
