Faculty Research Working Group : Learn about Federal Appropriations Requests

This week's faculty research working group (FRWG) session will be presented by Cassidy Hobbs (UA Federal Relations), on September 23, from 3-4 p.m. in-person in SSB 118 or via Zoom. She will provide a brief overview of the federal appropriations process, including regular appropriations, supplementals and continuing resolutions.

She will also give an update on where the FY23 appropriations process is currently, and a rough timeline for the FY24 budget process. Overall, appropriations are quite different from grants and contracts, come learn how to engage in this alternative pathway to funding.
