Faculty Mini Grant Opportunity: Health Misinformation Education, Proposals due midnight October

by Green & Gold News  |

As part of efforts to create a healthier information environment in Alaska, the Alaska Health Misinformation Response Project Team seeks UAA and branch campus faculty for a mini-grant opportunity to raise awareness about the threat of health misinformation, particularly as it relates to confidence in vaccination.

The mini-grants allow an opportunity for local community dialogue and engagement with faculty, staff, students, and the public on how to identify and manage this emerging threat. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply for a maximum of $2,500. Smaller budgets are also welcome. We strongly encourage applicants to collaborate with a local community agency to amplify engaged learning.

Deadline to submit proposals: October 9 at midnight. See the Faculty CCEL Mini-grant Opportunity
Health Misinformation Education Google document for additional information and submission instructions.
