Update on IT Managed Mailing Lists

Over the last three weeks, IT Services has been investigating issues with our mailing list service also known as UAA Mail Man or listservs, that has resulted in intermittent delivery of emails through the service.

We discovered a significant uptick in inbound emails into the service, which were effectively causing the service to become overwhelmed and not function reliably. IT Services has implemented a fix to prevent this situation from occurring and have observed a significant improvement in the reliability of the service since.
