Alaska INBRE has two undergraduate research opportunities open

Alaska INBRE Program offers two summer research assistantship opportunities for students interested in research. The primary objective of the Alaska INBRE Summer Undergraduate Research Opportunities is to provide support for a project in the biomedical sciences and health with mentorship from a UA faculty member. Students funded through this program will gain valuable experience in designing, conducting, and reporting biomedical research. The purpose is to train undergraduate students in scientific methods, scientific writing, reporting, and presentation preparation.

The Diversity opportunity will give priority to Alaska Native students and students from other underrepresented groups as defined by the National Institute of Health (NIH).

Completed applications must be submitted by: February 3, 2023
The funding Period is May 7, 2023, to August 12, 2023
