The UAA School of Allied Health Dental Program is seeking applications for a Dental Clinic Support Specialist. The Dental program prepares students to become Dental Assistants and Dental Hygienists. Students graduate as competent and ethical with the knowledge and skills for entry into high demand careers in the healthcare industry. The Dental program makes an important contribution to the College of Health’s mission to advance the health and well being of people and
communities.

The School of Allied Health also operates a dental clinic that offers opportunities for students, staff, and community members to receive limited dental care.

The College of Health has a commitment to innovation and flexibility insuring high quality education, and training is available to all who have the ability and interest to pursue an education or profession. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety requirements, maintaining/monitoring/ supporting equipment and processes, coordinating clinical equipment repairs and/or service, ordering equipment and office supplies, and maintaining accounting paperwork for supplies/equipment ordered on a monthly basis. Other responsibilities would be covering
the front desk when needed, adheres to FERPA and/or HIPAA requirements, attend meetings/trainings/briefings as required, and other duties as assigned.
