It is with great sadness that I inform you of the passing of our colleague Jodi Pfeiffer. Jodi was a term Assistant Professor of Physical Therapist Assistant, and she served as the program director for the AAS in Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Jodi first started working at UAA as an Adjunct Professor in 2015.
With the passing of Edward B. Rasmuson in January of this year, UAA remembers his enduring legacy and the impact he and his family have had on Alaska and the university.
UAA Student Health and Counseling Center Director, Mary Woodring has announced that she will be leaving UAA in July. Mary has been leading the SHCC for the past three years and been working at UAA for over 14 years.

Guests will find interactive sessions on all three floors of Rasmuson Hall on the UAA campus, along with wine tastings, hors d’oeuvres, live music and silent auction items.

Please join us for an open forum with our Alcohol, Drug, and Wellness Educator (ADWE) finalist. The ADWE coordinates UAA’s alcohol and drug education efforts, National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week, disciplinary sanctions related to substance use, and other substance use programming and training.
