Please join us for the February Open Forum on Intercultural Fluency! Please register for each event.

Who: Jennifer Booz, UAA’s Chief Diversity Officer, with help from professors Britteny Howell and Sara Buckingham. All faculty, staff and students are welcome to join!

What: This is a cross-institution, all-campus Open Forum to help faculty and staff identify how their program or service contributes to student learning for the core competency Intercultural Fluency.

Where: Attendance in-person (specific location at each UAA campus) and virtual.

When: Friday, Feb. 10, 9-11 a.m.

Why: The Open Forum will lay the groundwork for the May 11 Annual Assessment Retreat, where you will “show” what that learning looks like in your program or service.

Friday, Feb. 10, 9-11 a.m.: Open Forum – Intercultural Fluency: Brainstorming and starting to prepare your program or service’s assignment or activity (Includes Photo Voice instructions to prepare for the May 11 Annual Assessment Retreat) — Register online.

Thursday, May 11, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.: Annual Assessment Retreat – Intercultural Fluency: Photo Voice Data Collection and Discussion — Register online.
