The UAA College of Arts and Sciences departments are excited to kick off the 2023 summer camps taking place this June! There are a total of five camps hosted by several of the CAS departments including:

  • UCreate@UAA: JPC Media Creator Camp
  • H20 Species Spies: Biology camp on Stream Ecology
  • Navigators: Think Fast, Think Fun, Think Orienteering: Orienteering Camp
  • Games, Puzzles, and Math: Mathematics Camp
  • Bone Detectives: Forensic Anthropology Camp

These camps are for grades 5-8. Students will have the opportunity to dive into interactive and fun activities that highlight each profession. Based on their preferred camp choice, students will discover the tools that these professions rely on, while also having fun! Ranging from exploring organisms in our local waters to graphic design, students have a variety of different avenues to choose from. Camp dates range from the week of June 5 to the week of June 19. Be sure to check out the CAS Summer Camps website to read about what each camp offers and to register. Sign up now while there are still open spaces!
