Do you have links to library database resources (e.g., specific articles, ebooks, or searches) in your Blackboard shells? The Consortium Library is migrating to a new tool for off-campus access to library databases. This should provide better service and will be easier to maintain in the long run, but will require updating some URLs.

This will not affect links to:

• Main Consortium Library website
• LibGuides
• QuickSearch links (URLs starting with uaa.summon.serialssolutions.com)
• Library Resources link on your course menu

This does affect links that start with proxy.consortiumlibrary.org/login?url=. On or after May 9, those links should be updated to start with consortiumlibrary.idm.oclc.org/login?url=. The Library will set up temporary redirects to minimize the immediate impact. Updating your course links in May will ensure your students can access the materials when the temporary redirects expire.
