New Staff Buddy Program: Sign up to be a peer guide!

As part of the onboarding experience at UAA, the Employee Experience Department is excited to launch a new buddy program! New employees can opt in to be paired with an established employee for an opportunity to engage with a peer as they settle into the campus. Established employees who sign up to participate will serve as peer guides. A peer guide is someone who partners with a new employee during the first six months of employment to offer companionship, guidance, and help the employee acclimate to the UAA professional culture. The relationship is intended to be peer-to-peer and casual.

NOTE: A peer guide is not a mentor (involved with development) or a supervisor (responsible for job performance).

Would you like to be a part of this program? We are looking for staff who want to make a difference in helping new-to-UAA staff feel connected and supported as they start their employment at UAA!
