UAA's Student Activities and Multicultural Support Services teams are partnering with the Anchorage Juneteenth committee to organize this year's Juneteenth celebration. On June 19, we'll gather at UAA's Fine Art's Building for a shared meal (4 to 6 p.m.) and a formal closing ceremony (6 to 8 p.m.) to celebrate Juneteenth. This gathering is a follow-up to the two-day festival that will happen downtown over the previous weekend (June 17 and 18). We hope you'll join us for this celebratory event, and be sure to checkout the downtown festival as well. There's a parade this year!
