Academic Affairs is seeking an Assistant Vice Provost for CTE Prior Learning, Dual Enrollment, and Continuing Studies. Reporting to and under the general direction of the Vice Provost of Academic Affairs and Institutional Effectiveness, this position will provide leadership over the academic processes that support streamlined career pathways from K-12 to the university and beyond. The position will be part of the Academic Affairs and Institutional Effectiveness team and will work collaboratively with external partners and across the university with offices such as the Registrar’s office, Advising, Career Services, Institutional Research, Information Technology Services and across colleges and campuses to develop, manage and sustain institutional-level processes and procedures related to the areas of responsibility. Professional development will be encouraged. We are looking for someone to join our team who is committed to supporting UAA in its goals to put students first and to be a trusted and respected community partner.

As this is a new position, the individual selected will help to shape and define the role. Partial remote work is possible with this position. This is a non-tenure track academic administrative position. It is Open Rank, depending on qualifications and being eligible for appointment at rank of Associate Professor in one of the disciplines offered by the university. Starting salary is based on education and experience.
