Welcome back, Seawolves! Fall is a wonderful time on campus as we welcome new and returning students, faculty and staff. We have much to look forward to this semester, including some big events this week and weekend.

Seawolf faculty and staff, join me and UAA leadership Friday, Aug. 25, in the Wendy Williamson Auditorium from 8:30-10 a.m. for our annual Convocation. Reconnect with colleagues, celebrate staff and faculty milestones and enjoy light refreshments as we usher in the 2023-24 academic year. Please RSVP if you plan to attend in person and receive your UAA logo wear, or join us online.

Friday, Aug. 25, is UAA Day at the Alaska State Fair. Kids 12 and under gain free admission, although we encourage donating two shelf-stable food items. Visit UAA in Pioneer Plaza and show us your Seawolf pride by wearing your green and gold for a chance to win prizes! You can also find UAA’s Mat-Su College cabin daily on the Red Trail.
