Workshop series, Sept. 11- 15, each night at 7 p.m. in Kimura Gallery, UAA Fine Arts Building. The workshops all center on introducing artists/students to the basics of generative AI in the context of visual art, music and open source software. No programming experience is needed to enjoy these workshops, and they are designed for writers, illustrators, musicians, hobbyist programmers, computer science students as well as professional visual artists and art students.

Students are encouraged to bring their own laptop, but it is not required.

Workshops are intended for:

• visual artists/art students
• writers/poets/writing students
• musicians/music students
• computer science students
• hobbyist programmers
• people with no experience programming
• people with lots of experience programming
• anyone interested in AI/machine learning
