In honor of Constitution Week (Sept. 17-23 each year), the Department of Political Science will hold the annual James Madison Cup competition on Saturday, Sept. 16, at 5.30 p.m., in the lecture hall of the Conoco-Phillips Integrated Science Building (CPISB), Room 120. The competition is open to students at UAA and juniors or seniors in Alaska high schools. The only preparation we recommend is to study the Constitution of the United States and sign up. Contestants may also sign up on the day of the competition upon arrival. Prizes will be awarded. Check with your instructor for extra credit. Students, family members, friends, and others who want to watch the competition are also welcome to join us that evening for Moose’s Tooth pizza and salad.
