Mock Lecture: Project Cost Management: An Overview of Cost Categories
Presentation: An Overview of Innovation Projects and Business Models

Abstract

Several reasons motivate governments, companies, universities, and societies to emphasize innovation projects to boost the economy. Innovation projects can range from developing a new product, providing a new service, or improving the production processes to more complex projects within innovation ecosystems that involve numerous actors from public authorities, the private sector, and academia with heterogeneous motivations and expectations. Every innovation project must create some sort of value for different stakeholders through a business model. In a broad view, the business model consists of three main components including the offer system, the demand system, and the value structure. The business models of innovation projects are usually dynamic and evolve over time through iterative cycles.
