Furnished 3 Bedroom Apartment for rent available Nov. 1

by Green & Gold News  |

Centrally located by Willowcrest Elementary, wonderful location with easy access to the airport, Minnesota Dr and straight shot down Tudor to UAA but nestled in a quiet 1960's neighborhood on a double lot with plenty of room to move and air to breathe. The unit is the lower unit with a wealth of natural light. Absolutely no drug use (legal or illegal) or smoking on the property. The house is a bit quirky and the entrance is through the garage, yet a comfortable space. There are old house noises, I swear it is not haunted.  Cats and critters are fine, though no dogs, we have a malamute that does not get along with other dogs but she loves people!  It is furnished, but if you have your own furniture we can swap out for your things.

Costs

The rent is $1,600 with a $1,600 deposit (negotiable for students based on income) which covers heat, water and garbage. You just pay for internet and phone.

The Space

My son and I have the upstairs-three bedroom unit and the garage that you enter through. I moonlight as an artist and the garage may be filled with painting supplies in preparation for a show or old car projects. People are always welcome to hang out while I paint.  There is a washer and dryer in the bathroom for you to use.

Tenant Access

You get the whole downstairs, south side parking and are encouraged to enjoy the yard.

Airbnb

Currently I host the space on Airbnb and have some guests till Oct 31st making a walk-thru available after that.  If guests book before I sign a tenant that may adjust availability, but once someone signs on then I will stop hosting on Airbnb.  The link is to the Airbnb listing so that you can get an idea of what the space looks like.
