Learn to Cross Country Ski, Classic Style!

Join UAA's XC Ski Team this Saturday at the Kincaid Chalet and learn how to classic ski! The Employee Experience Department is excited to partner with the UAA XC ski team to offer a beginner-friendly workshop to any UAA employees and their families. We will start with a brief overview of applying kickwax, followed by a technique presentation in the stadium. Afterward, if you are feeling comfortable on your skis, you are welcome to join us as we enjoy the 2.5-kilometer Mize Loop trail.
We will start at the Kincaid Chalet. Please dress for the weather as it is supposed to be around 10 degrees Fahrenheit.
This event requires you to bring your own gear including classic skis, boots, and poles. You can purchase used skis at Hoarding Marmot or rent them from UAA's Student Union, Play It Again Sports, REI, and more.
