by Green & Gold News  |

The Employee Experience department is hosting an open discussion about the complex issues surrounding identity, community, and compassion for individuals on UAA’s campus experiencing homelessness and/or mental health issues. This session will explore the resources available to those needing help and how our campus community can create a supportive environment for those whose struggles often go unnoticed. Help us strive to cultivate an inclusive campus atmosphere that values the dignity and well-being of every individual.

Open conversations about complex issues help us grow as a community. Join us for this important discussion on Monday, Dec. 11 from 3–4 p.m. in RH 101. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Presented by:

  • Jennifer Booz, chief diversity officer
  • Kathi Trawver, professor/program coordinator for Bachelor of Social Work program
