The UA Staff Alliance is pleased to once again offer a class fee scholarship for UA classes taken by staff that directly support their career or professional development. The scholarship, good for the 2024 spring semester, is for up to $250 per employee. 

There are limited funds available. After the application period closes, if there are more applicants than funds available, recipients will be randomly selected from all eligible applications. preference will first be given to recipients who did not receive this scholarship last semester. All applicants will be notified whether they have received the scholarship before the fee payment deadline (Jan. 26th for UAF and UAS, Feb. 5th for UAA).

Eligibility

1. Must be a UA regular staff member who is eligible for a tuition waiver

2. Must reasonably demonstrate that classes taken directly support career or professional development (by answering the question in the application below)

Application Instructions

Application period: Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023 - Monday, Jan. 8, 2024

1. First submit an employee tuition waiver form. You will not be considered if you don’t complete this form first!

2. Then, submit a fee scholarship request here by Monday, January 8th, 2024.
