Photographer James Evans from University Marketing and Communications (UMAC) will be leading a two-part workshop open to all UAA employees. Attend either in person or online on Jan. 23 for the first session, titled "Photography Fundamentals," where James will explore ways to effectively utilize any camera for storytelling and capturing picture-perfect moments. Bundle up on Jan. 26 for the second session, an "Outdoor Photography Workshop."

If you have an interest in photography and visual storytelling, chances are you learn best through hands-on experiences. In the second photography fundamentals session, James Evans, the UMAC photographer, will conduct a campus photo walk to answer any questions and let you practice basic photography techniques "in the field." Bring your camera, dress warm, and come with any photography-related questions you may have.
