'My Little Black Dress Doesn't Mean Yes' Art Submissions

Due date extended! Submit logos for "My Little Black Dress Doesn't Mean Yes" by Feb. 23, at 8 a.m. A $100 prize will be awarded to the winner! Visual art is due Feb. 26 by 8 a.m. Only students may enter the logo contest, but the visual art contest is open to students as well as Anchorage community members!

About This Event

USUAA and UAA's Health Promotion Team are hosting the "My Little Black Dress Does Not Mean Yes" event on Feb. 28, 2024 at UAA. This event focuses on bringing awareness to sexual violence in our community and promoting healthy relationships. The event will include an expert panel that will discuss consent, sexual assault, domestic violence, and healthy relationships in our community and how we can change the statistics and stigmas surrounding these topics. As part of the event there will be an art showcase displaying all art submissions and swag with the winning logo.  

We are collecting art submissions from the public to be displayed at the event. The art submitted should be based on one of the topics that the event addresses. Digital art is welcomed and will be printed for viewing.

Logo submissions will be juried by a panel of USUAA and Health Promotion Team members to win a $100 prize for UAA students only. This logo will be printed on swag for the event.
