Undergraduate Research Assistantship (URA) Awards Are Open for Summer 2024. The primary objective of the Alaska INBRE Undergraduate Research Assistantship (URA) initiative is to support undergraduate students engaged in biomedical and health science research with mentorship from UA faculty. Students funded through this program will gain valuable experience in designing, conducting and presenting research. This URA opportunity is for students enrolled at UAS, UAA or UAF. Preference will be given to Alaska Native students and students from other underrepresented groups as defined by NIH.
