Faculty members are responsible for creating an equitable learning experience. As students navigate their early studies at UAA, they must meet several general education requirements (GER's). The second spring 2024 College of Health Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ) Symposium features faculty and staff who champion the integration of DEIJ into their curriculum, along with guidance on the process of designating a course with the DEI GER status. They’ll share their experiences and lessons learned as the presence of DEI studies has become more prominent in recent years. Come learn about DEIJ opportunities and efforts at UAA.
