ACDLITe eLearning Event: Blackboard Ultra

by Green & Gold News  |

The Academic Computing, Distance Learning, Instructional Technology, and eLearning (ACDLITe) Committee invites you to our 15th annual eLearning event. Over the years, we have introduced exciting and cutting-edge faculty initiatives, supported faculty with using technology to support student success and helped faculty look at what is on the horizon for eLearning.

This year’s theme is “Blackboard Ultra: Easing the Transition.” Join us via Zoom to discover how Blackboard Ultra is similar to and different from our current version of Blackboard, the timeline for moving to Ultra, and the conversion process. The event includes a Blackboard Ultra tour from Kathryn Schild, Ph.D. (UAA FD&IS), Kitty Deal's, Ph.D., (UAA Kodiak College) experience transitioning her course, and a Q&A session with the speakers, instructional designers, and a representative from IT. Our goal is to reduce uncertainty and concerns, ultimately easing the transition to the new version of Blackboard.
