From Classroom to Community - DEI in Research and Creative Activity

by Green & Gold News  |

Community engagement is critical to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in research and creative activity at UAA. Faculty, staff, and students engage with communities to address their health needs.  The third Spring ‘24 COH Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ) Symposium will highlight faculty research that examines disparities that influence the health and wellbeing of all Alaskans. We will also have an immersive musical performance by Gail Jackson from Creative Rhythms. Come join our final symposium of the year, it will be worth it!
