Attention education professionals and individuals with advising or direct service experience! TRIO Pre-College Programs at UAA is hiring multiple full-time advisor-coordinators with a competitive salary and UA employee benefits package.

This is a full-time grant funded position under the TRIO Pre-College Programs department (Upward Bound and Educational Talent Search/ETS) at UAA. Advisor-coordinators will work directly in select Anchorage School District high schools to recruit and assist students with preparing and enrolling in postsecondary education. TRIO Pre-College Program serves low-income and potential first-generation college student populations and directly assists with their preparation to enter and complete their educational goals. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to build meaningful relationships with students, create and deliver a variety of program services and directly impact student success.

Preference will be given to candidates with personal experiences in overcoming barriers similar to program participants. Candidates will serve under the Educational Talent Search grant and placement will be determined upon a job offer.
