Plastic pollution in Alaska and the Arctic is rising, and this free webinar will inform you of what is being done to address it. Philippe Amstislavski, Ph.D., Professor of Public Health and Director of the UAA Biomaterials Laboratory, will speak of the fascinating mycelium (yes, fungi) projects he is leading to minimize the use of plastics, especially in seafood packaging and house insulation.
