This is a pool of applicants that will be drawn from when Standardized Patients are needed to perform as patients or patient family members for students. 2020 Democracy & Civic Action Week runs Sept. 14-19

Since 2018, UAA's Democracy & Civic Action Week has invited students, faculty, staff and community members to explore diverse perspectives about the role of democracy and civic engagement in the United States. This year's theme is Designing a Future for Democracy. Through a range of activities provided by departments, programs and organizations from across campus, presenters and participants are encouraged to learn from the past, to explore the issues of today and to imagine who we could be as a democratic society.

Sept. 18, 2020: Assessment Seminar/Core Competency Kick Off: Equity Through Transparency in Learning and Teaching

Join Dr. Suzanne Tapp for a hands-on workshop in which you will learn how to TILT a curricular or co-curricular assignment or activity toward greater transparency. Participants should bring an assignment or activity to work on, with a preference for one that aligns with the Core Competency Personal, Professional, and Community Responsibility.
