On Tuesday, Nov. 28, public administration students in Dr. Sheila Selkregg's policymaking course will present their research alongside nearly a dozen city dignitaries. The forum, covering the value of education in a democratic society, is free and open to the public.

The GCI Great Alaska Shootout will play its 40th—and final—edition in 2017. In addition to the Seawolves, this year's field features Binghamton, Tulsa and Maryland Eastern Shore on the women's side; and Cal Poly, Central Michigan, College of Charleston, CSU Bakersfield, Idaho, Sam Houston State and Santa Clara on the men's side.
