Join us and unleash your inner samurai! The Japanese acting group "Burai" will teach participants sword handling, sword fighting, and how to speak like a samurai during the hour-long demonstration and workshop.
UAA Fine Arts Kimura Gallery is hosting the opening reception for "stable diffusion artist collaboration" on Friday, Sept. 15, from 5 - 7 p.m. The exhibition consists of a series of images from open-ended collaborations between visual artists/students and a group of professional software engineers and machine learning researchers who began working with Stable Diffusion together at the Recurse Center in late 2022.
Academic Preview Day is an event intending to spark interest in high school students to attend college. This year the event is being held in the Alaska Airlines Center on Sept. 22 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 pm.
These trainings help participants identify, understand, and respond to signs of addiction and mental illness or crisis. This session is for adults working with youth.
