The Excellence in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award
Faculty (including Adjunct Faculty) or staff | Two awards per year, one awardee from the Anchorage campus and one awardee from a community campus.
Outstanding contribution to the advancement of diversity and inclusion of UAA students, staff and faculty through increasing the visibility and representation of diverse voices, and creating an atmosphere of inclusiveness and community.
Criteria
- Impact level showing advancement of diversity for students, faculty and staff
- Impact level creating an atmosphere of inclusiveness and community
- Level “above & beyond” normal job requirements/functions
- Impact to advancing UAA’s Mission
- Other noteworthy qualities considered
