Art Education
The Art Education Program develops students to be inspiration art educators through hands-on participation, critical thinking, field training and community engaged activities. Students receive a strong foundation of teaching skills through formal and informal settings such as classroom training, after-school artist in residency programs, workshops and visits to the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center. Students also explore facets of art such as aesthetics, art history, criticism, and studio practice.
