Dasha Petrov works with the Biomaterials Lab as an intern at the University Alaska Anchorage. She is an early career writer, editor, and an experienced manager with a demonstrated history of working in marketing, and skilled in Community Outreach editing. She completed an associates in English, pursuing a Bachelors of Arts in English Studies and has a strong interest in research focused on public health programs serving Alaska Native people. With her interest in biomaterials, she is assisting with the research of biodegradable alternatives for plastic waste, creating a long-term solution for the plastic pollution in Alaska.
