2024 Restorative Justice Symposium

After our inaugural, in person restorative justice symposium in 2023, the UAA Justice Center and School of Social Work are excited to present our second annual Alaska-based restorative justice symposium in March 2024: Catalyzing Change: Equipping Alaskan Communities with Restorative Justice Tools. This year's symposium is 100% virtual (Zoom), open to the public, and free to attend. The sessions will focus on the nuts and bolts of starting and maintaining restorative justice programs, with in-depth dives into building community buy-in, the September 2023 judicial orders outlining the legal process in Alaska for using restorative justice programs, lessons learned from existing programs, and much, much more!
