RaLyssa Harris appointed RRANN program coordinator
The University of Alaska Anchorage RRANN program has named RaLyssa Harris its new program coordinator.
BSW student Katie Lester wins scholarship and hopes to continue advocacy work
Katie Lester, a senior in the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program at the University of Alaska Anchorage, recently received $8,000 from the National Federation for the Blind (NFB) scholarship program with multiple sponsors donating to the scholarship. Katie was one of 30 scholarship recipients and her award was specifically for academic excellence and service to the community.
Alaska Statewide Survey on Long COVID
In February 2022, a team at the University of Alaska Anchorage led by Dr. Jennifer Meyer deployed a statewide survey to assess respondents' knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors related to COVID-19 prevention strategies and specifically Long Covid or Post COVID conditions.
