A Tour of Our Facilities and Programs

A tour of the UAA Aviation Department offers a unique chance to discover our advanced facilities and programs designed to support aviation education. During your visit, you’ll explore:

  • Air Traffic Control Lab: Experience where students train with state-of-the-art simulation equipment to manage air traffic.
  • Aviation Maintenance Technology Hangar: See how students work on aircraft in modern maintenance facilities, learning essential skills for ensuring aircraft safety and performance.
  • Flight Operations Area: Explore where professional pilots train, create flight plans, and debrief with instructors.

This tour offers a comprehensive overview of UAA’s aviation programs, classrooms, simulators, and the hands-on training students receive throughout their studies.

Advising

Please note that a tour and advising are separate appointments. All students should meet with an academic advisor before beginning any program of study. At UAA, students in aviation programs are initially advised by the Aviation Technology Student Success Advisor. Program faculty also offer career advising and mentoring. For faculty contact information, please visit the faculty & staff directory page.

We encourage students to regularly meet with their advisor to review academic progress and plan future courses. Click the link below to view recommended course sequencing for each program.
