Accelerated Learning Programs (ALP)

WRTG 110 ALP

Our “entry-level” Accelerated Learning Program comprises two courses: WRTG A110 (3 credits) and WRTG A092 (2 credits), which students take with the same instructor in back-to-back time slots. This program allows motivated students to complete WRTG A110 course requirements while receiving the support they need to do their best work. The instruction and curriculum are coordinated, which means the work in WRTG A092 supports WRTG A110 assignments. WRTG A092 is also a small class, half the size of a usual WRTG class, so it fosters a strong connections between students and the professor.

WRTG 111 ALP

Our “Advanced” Accelerated Learning Program comprises two courses: WRTG A111 (3 credits) and WRTG A192 (2 credits), which you take with the same instructor in back-to-back time slots. This program allows you to complete WRTG A111 course requirements while receiving the kind of support you may need to do your best work. The instruction and curriculum are coordinated, which means the work you do in WRTG A192 supports your WRTG A111 assignments. WRTG A192 is comprised of half of the students who are in the WRTG A111 section, so you also develop a strong learning environment with your classmates.
