Graduate Assistant Health Insurance
A Graduate Assistantship includes paid health insurance through UnitedHealthcare for the graduate assistant during their period of employment. UAA pays the premium for the student. The graduate assistant’s legal spouse, Domestic Partner, and dependent children under 26 years of age may be insured at the student’s cost. Graduate assistants are required to enroll in this benefit each semester of employment to ensure coverage and benefits using the online UnitedHealthcare Enrollment Form.
