Syllabus Sample Statement about the Learning Commons' Services:

The UAA Learning Commons offers tutoring/coaching support services in a range of subjects including writing, STEM, nursing, presentations, academic coaching, languages, and more. Located on the first floor of the library, students are encouraged to use our tutoring/coaching services, ask questions as they arise, and use the open seating to study or work as groups. Peer tutors who excel in their subjects are available both in-person and online at a variety of times throughout the day and week. Additional/After Hours Tutoring:

The Statewide Library Electronic Doorway (SLED) through Tutor.com provides additional tutoring resources in many topics from K-12 to College levels. Their hours are 8 AM - 2 AM (AK Time) Mondays-Fridays and Noon - 2 AM (AK Time) Saturdays & Sundays.
