Keynote presentation for 'In Tandem With Time, Rivers Become' exhibition

"In Tandem With Time, Rivers Become" is a contemplative installation by multidisciplinary artist Nuttaphol Ma. This space becomes a container for relics and ephemera from Ma's on-going performances titled Stitching Dreams of Leaving, Dreams of Roots. Ma's actions flow as two rivers.

UAA Associate Professor of Anthropology Diane Hanson guides anthropology students as they excavate a bear skeleton that has been buried in the forest near UAA since 2019.

Each fall, students taking UAA's archaeology lab learn to excavate and perform artifact mapping at archeology sites by digging up the bodies of dead bears, killed in defense of life or property, that were donated by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game and buried years prior.

Seawolf Store closed Sept. 30

UAA Education Abroad is an opportunity for UAA students to study abroad or participate in an internship or service learning experience in another country while still receiving academic credit towards their UAA degree! This year, join the Seawolf Community from Monday, September 27th through Monday, October 11th for a two-week distance challenge of YOUR choice: 10K (quarter-ish marathon), 20K (half-ish marathon), or 40K (full-ish marathon)!
